At lombokindustries.com, we build browser-based and mobile utilities including our mobile application FlipPDF (Android Application), PDF tools, code comparison tools, image upscalers, and other productivity applications. Your privacy and control over your data are fundamental to our design.
1. Mobile Application Permissions & Local Processing
Our FlipPDF Android application functions as a local viewer. We do not provide cloud storage. Files processed through our mobile tools (including PDF documents opened within the app) are managed locally on your device.
Application File Access:
When you use the file picker within the FlipPDF app, the app temporarily accesses the specific PDF file you select via Android's secure Storage Access Framework / GetContent API. This file is rendered directly inside the application's hardware-accelerated viewport. We do not permanently store, archive, upload, or retain your files on our servers.
2. Information You Voluntarily Provide
We only collect personal information when you voluntarily provide it, such as:
- Email address for newsletter subscription
- Information submitted via mobile support or contact forms
- Donation-related information (processed by third-party payment providers)
We use this information solely for communication, technical support, or delivering requested content. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
3. Mobile Advertising & Device Identifiers (Google AdMob)
To keep our mobile application free, we integrate third-party mobile advertising networks. Specifically, the FlipPDF mobile app uses the Google AdMob SDK to display contextual or personalized Banner and Interstitial advertisements.
Data Collected by AdMob:
The Google AdMob SDK may collect and process certain device data automatically, including but not limited to: your device’s Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, device brand and model, mobile carrier, and basic app interaction metrics.
This data is used solely to deliver relevant ads, prevent ad fraud, and track performance metrics. You can manage, reset, or limit your mobile advertising identifiers at any time via your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads on Android).
4. Device Caching & Local Storage Management
The FlipPDF mobile application utilizes standard Android WebView caching architectures (such as IndexedDB and DOM Storage) to smoothly buffer large PDF documents (over 500 pages) and enable high-performance 'Magazine Flip Mode'.
This caching data is stored securely within the app's sandboxed private memory directory on your local device. The application includes native self-healing parameters that completely wipe this local cache if memory limits are reached or if an unexpected rendering process occurs.
5. Third-Party Links & Services
Our services may contain links to external web tools or process payments through secure providers (for donations). We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy policies or practices of third-party platforms.
6. Data Security & Encryption
All network connections initiated by the application to sync configuration or retrieve ad assets are strictly secured via standard HTTPS encryption. While we implement strict, modern container environments for our mobile views, no digital transmission method can be guaranteed 100% secure.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our tools and mobile applications do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take necessary cleanup measures.
8. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to align with new Google Play console requirements or SDK changes. Continued use of our application indicates acceptance of any modifications.
